First picture of my XBox, which I'm modding for steampunking. I've dismantled the entire cover and face plate and started painting it. It's almost done though.
Used spray paint, black paint scrubbed over top to make it look worn, then on top of all that, I took individual trial packets of wood varnish and coated that on top of the dried black n' gold paint. It made it look like a type of brass/bronze metal.
Took sandpaper to the clock after it was coated with black paint to make it look dirty and worn out. Off to the side I plan on making/putting cogs and gears.
At the moment no, I had to put it on haitus since my mate wanted to play with it again. Between that and work the last month I've been super busy. The clay I had been using didn't stick to it, so I have to buy a special type of clay and glue that will adhere to the plastic of the Xbox.
But, that's just a matter of location, I plan on getting into the city on June 20th, and picking up what I need at a better art store then what's located locally.
Thanks for the fav!

You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.
